Hi, my name is John Murphy, we purchased the property and built this auto service business in 1989, operating it successfully as a well known franchise for the first 16 years.  We than arranged for the previous franchise to operate it as a corporate store.

A few years ago we decided with great help from my partners, Jose Salgado, Cesar Rivera & Dakota Murphy, these three plus myself have over 45 years total experience in servicing your car's. We are now Planet Lube Co. to include clean operation and friendly location for our environment.

We love this business and the experience and joy we get when we help and take care of our friends-customers.  Now it is a great joy my son Dakota has been with us for a year and a half, he is 17 years old, studying auto tech at College of Lake County, along with his High school studies.  He is a great addition to our Planet Lube Family!
